On the first day of school each child, teacher, and staff member at Burley School had a bright, shiny red apple on their desk generously donated by Whole Foods Market. We are proud and thankful to announce that this apple was just the beginning!

Friends of Burley is pleased to announce a new partnership with Whole Foods Market as they look towards opening their new flagship store in our neighborhood. Over the course of this school year, and in years to come, they have generously offered to support Burley School and you can look forward to programs and events that tie our organizations together.

The first effort of this new partnership will be the funding of our new chicken coop within Burley School's Eco:lab.  The chicken coop is a welcome addition to the new greenhouse, existing outdoor learning area, and vegetable garden. Whole Foods Market has generously offered to help fund this new coop through their 5% Days (a community giving day).

We are very thankful to Whole Foods Market for partnering with Friends of Burley to support projects that fit into both of our shared missions. We look forward to bringing these, as well as other corporate partnership programs, to Burley School in our effort to make sure our school has the financial resources it needs to stay the amazing place it is today and into the future.
