Maggie daniel

My name is Maggie Daniel. I am a journalist, wife and mother of two. We have been so impressed with Burley and the education our daughters’ are receiving.

I got involved with Friends of Burley because my dear friend and fellow board member, Jennifer Moon, didn’t give me any other choice! Just kidding. But seriously, after joining I quickly realized the great work FOB is doing. Friends of Burley supports so much of what our family feels makes for a well rounded education. Merit music comes to mind, as well as other “specials” and the beautiful community park and turf track.

I helped co-chair the 2016 Friends of Burley Fall Social. This event brings parents, teachers and staff together. It’s also the kick-off of the FOB annual campaign. Being a part of Friends of Burley also means getting to know other parents in and outside of school. It’s very fulfilling to work with people who love their school and their community.
