My name is Kim Lero.  I have a small accounting business and I have a 7th grade boy and 8th grade girl attending Burley since Kindergarten.

I am starting my third year as a Co-Treasurer of Friends of Burley.  The Co-Treasurers share the responsibility of maintaining books and records, tracking adherence to the annual budget, analyzing the results of events and campaigns and making the required annual filings.

Burley became an excellent neighborhood school, due in part to dedicated parents contributing their time and effort year after year.   I am happy to be a small part of the continued support that allows new parents to walk into a great school on day one.

The added benefit of being part of Friends of Burley is the friends that I have made.  I have met parents with children in a variety of grade levels and some that I would consider mentors on this journey.  We always have a good time together while working to achieve the Friends of Burley goals.
