The Annual Fund is money donated by YOU, our Burley families. It is then, like all of the FOB funds, spent by the Burley Administration to support EVERY student.
A generation of families have donated to Friends of Burley, steadily creating and building technology capacity that made it possible for each of our children to begin remote learning with an iPad/Chromebook preloaded with the tools needed to access curriculum. Now it is OUR moment to make the important things happen, the things that support our school, our children, our community.Not only will our children incorporate Art, STEAM, Technology and Physical Education into the school day, Burley will supply FOB-funded kits so every child can participate fully in these classes with the same materials.
Beyond the technology, specials classes and curriculum, what really makes Burley stand out are our teachers and other essential staff. Burley’s best-in-class curriculum and stellar reputation mean that the school attracts the most talented teachers in the Chicagoland area with years of experience, impeccable qualifications and a commitment to educational innovation. This is why the entire teacher salary expense cannot be covered by the funds allocated to Burley by CPS and must be supplemented by funds raised by Friends of Burley. Learn more here.

Every donation of any amount is welcome and every single donation works hard for the Burley students, our children, every day.
